this 4 story structure sits above the historic downtown of park city, utah and needed a complete renovation. the remodel was more like building a ship inside glass bottle. every move we made to open up its interior spaces would require the utmost care and attention during construction. due to local zoning laws, we were restricted to maintain the original envelope except on the north facade where we had just a few feet to expand the footprint but not the height.
